The journey began when Eve, armed with a Chemistry degree and a Masters in Environmental Decision Making, decided to create her own natural toiletries due to the lack of suitable alternatives free from synthetic chemicals and plastics. This initiative quickly transformed into a flourishing business when she shared her homemade natural deodorant with her sister.

Suzanne, impressed by the deodorant's effectiveness and on maternity leave from her corporate career, recognised the potential for a business that aligned with her ethical values. Together, they launched Fit Pit deodorant, a product made from their home kitchen that quickly necessitated the expansion of their team due to its popularity.

Over a decade later, Eve and Suzanne have developed a multi-award-winning range of skin and body care products under The Green Woman brand, all adhering to the highest standards of organic, natural, and vegan principles. In 2021, their commitment to authenticity and quality was further recognised when they earned the prestigious Soil Association COSMOS Organic accreditation—a testament to their rigorous standards as only a select few beauty products achieve this certification.
